Patty, like most girls, clearly has been dreaming about her wedding day for a long time. It was very clear that she had tried her best to plan the wedding of her dreams. When I got a call from her venue location saying there was a problem a few days before the wedding, I knew that Patty was totally stressing out (as any bride would). There were a variety of issues getting access to the facility pre-ceremony. I spoke with the coordinator in detail and was able to address/resolve the issues. When I called and explained everything to Patty, she was incredibly releaved. She said “I am SO glad we selected you as our wedding photographers, you are the absolute best!” I explained to her that since we have photographed over 250 weddings, we are usually able to work around just about anything. At Hunts Photography, we do whatever we can to make our clients happy. We assist them in planning the day of their dreams, as well as capturing photos that are more beautiful that they ever imagined.
It was so awesome to see Patty the morning of the wedding. She was absolutly bursting with
excitment and anticipation. She couldn’t wait to finally put on her wedding dress – for real! Just as we hope for all “our couples”, her special day was flawless.
Lucky for us, Patty was very photogenic. Her excitment was captured in the photographs and I can’t help but smile when I look at them.
There were many highlights to their day, but the memory that stands out the most occured during post-ceremony photos. We had just finished family photos and started bridal party pics when a guest inturruped and gave her cell phone to the groom. So of course, we’re all thinking “Um…can’t you see he’s a little busy right now?” The bride and bridal party even began acting shocked and disgusted (for the photos) at this odd interruption. As it turns out, the call was from a guy who was supposed to be the groom’s best man. Unfortunately, he ended up getting deployed to Iraq prior to the wedding so obviously he had to step down from this honored wedding position in order to serve our country. However, he worked out a plan so that he
could still be a part of their big day. Obviously, that included a post-ceremony phone call. It also included the presence of a life-sized photo statue that stood in for him (I was told this is how tall he really is). (Way to go Alec, a very creative way to be a part of their day. We are all indebted to you for your service to our country and the sacrifices you have made).
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Fout!! It was our honor to capture beautiful memories for you and your famililes. We hope and pray that you will enjoy your wedding photos with many generations to come.

We were SO excited to get Matt’s call. He explained that he was planning to ask his girlfriend, Kalie, to marry him Friday night. He said that Kaylie loved Northbank Park, and they had talked about getting married there. He knew it was the perfect place to ask her to marry him. Matt thought of every detail, (which is why he called us!). Everthing was prepared. There was only one problem…It was pouring down rain. Of course, Kaylie had no idea what the evening held so with all the rain, she had no interest in going to the park. Luckily, Matt was able to convince her to go. We were waiting in a covered area by the “glass house”. The unsuspecting Kaylie was lead there, to the only dry area in the park. Upon their arrival, we were taking various photos, and greeted them as you would any passer by. We then asked if they didn’t mind posing for a quick photo for us. Matt took his que and right after their photo, he was on his knee – asking “Kaylie, Will you Marry Me?” He placed the beautiful diamond ring on her finger. She grabbed him into an embrace joyfully replied “Yes”.

We had a great time last week with the Lady Cyclones. When we got all our photos done, we played around and had some fun. The girls really wanted to do a pyramid but I was a little nervous because they were getting ready for a big game. We did a mini-pyramid to be safe!
